InPlace Upgrade SP3

Are there any problems doing an InPlace Upgrade on an already up to date
machine with all updates from a slipstreamed SP3 disk? Will IE8 just revert
back to IE6 and is it just a case of going to Windows Update and re-applying
updates. Anything special to be aware of? Thanks

Good question.

You really should revert to IE6 before attempting the Repair Install.

For more info:

Bottom line: Install Service Pack 3 (this includes the in-place upgrade)
before upgrading IE6.

DO NOT !!!

Uninstall IE 8, IE 7 and WMP 11 first. You will have "hell" if you do
not!
