Innaccessible Boot Device and USB Zip 250

Dear Folks,

For the past two weeks, every time I start up my computer
I get an Innaccessible Boot Device failure during Windows
2000 Pro startup UNLESS I can eject the disk in my USB Zip
250 drive while it is starting up. Any ideas? I've checked
the bios and made sure that it is only set to boot off of
the hard drive or the CD-ROM Drive.

Have you checked to see if there is updated BIOS for motherboard of the platform ?
