Hi

Totally non technical... but does anyone know what the music played during
the first start up, "Welcome to Microsoft Windows" process?
Also, where does this come from, I have searched SYSPREP'd hard disks for
music files and can't seem to find it... is it within some sort of exe wizard?

Hope you can help, this is driving me mad!!

Hi,

Thanks for your prompt response, however the 'tune' I am after is the
'mellow' tune played ONLY for the very first time you run up Windows XP (pro
or home), when it guides you through the initial process of adding users, etc.

Hope you know what i mean...!

Cheers

David,

It's called title.wma and you can find it under
C:\Windows\system32\oobe\images.

You will find the file in Windows\system32\OObe in I think a subfolder
of 'Tour' but I deleted Tour so far back that I don't remember more
precisely
