Hello,
I am going to buy an extra hard drive (X for movies, music and photos.
Some programs (such as sony picture package and i-tunes) automatically store
their pictures or music within the "My Pictures" or "My Music" folder. These
folders are located within the "My Documents" folder on my original hard disk
(C, where Windows is installed. So this way I will still store my pictures
and music on (C.
Can I just move the "My Pictures" and "My Music" folders from C: to X:? Or
does this mess up the "documents and settings" of Windows?
Alternatively: Is there a way to place the "My Pictures" and "My Music"
folders on the X: drive when (re)installing Windows?
I hope you guys can help!
Thanks,
Hendrik
