Hello,
I am going to buy an extra hard drive (X
for movies, music and photos.
Some programs (such as sony picture package and i-tunes) automatically store
their pictures or music within the "My Pictures" or "My Music" folder. These
folders are located within the "My Documents" folder on my original hard disk
(C
, where Windows is installed. So this way I will still store my pictures
and music on (C
.
Can I just move the "My Pictures" and "My Music" folders from C: to X:? Or
does this mess up the "documents and settings" of Windows?
Alternatively: Is there a way to place the "My Pictures" and "My Music"
folders on the X: drive when (re)installing Windows?
I hope you guys can help!
Thanks,
Hendrik
