Information bar

I turned the information bar off and it is now not showing. I can't work out
how to show it. When it was showing it was stopping activeX controls from
loading from an allowed website and I couldn't see any message to enable me
to allow it.

To enable the information bar to show, you have to turn in on wherever it is
applied.

For Pop-up Blocks, follow these steps:

1-In Internet Explorer.
2-Click Tools in the main menu, go to Pop-up Blocker, click Pop-up Blocker
Settings.
3-Check 'Show Information Bar when a pop-up is blocked'.
4-Click Close.

Also, for file downloads and ActiveX controls, to enable the Information Bar
follow these steps:

1-In Internet Explorer.
2-Click the Tools in the main menu, click Internet Options.
3-Click the Security tab, click Custom level.
Now to enable the Information bar to prompt for file downloads, go to
Downloads in the list and Disable Automatic prompting for file downloads. As
for ActiveX controls prompting, u can do the same, go to ActiveX controls and
plug-ins, and Disable Automatic prompting, too.
4-Click OK
