When pages need an ActiveX they tell me to answer yes to the yellow
information bar, but the information bar doesn't display :-(
I have tried to check all settings and all seems right.
Had the same problem on my laptop, diffappeared when installing IE7
(but for several reasons I sdon't want to install that here).
Also, if I go to the page on the other PC, and install the ActiveX
there, then I can copy the files from that PCs "Downloaded Program
Files" to the problematic PCs "Downloaded Program Files" and then do a
"regsvr32" on the ActiveX component.
THEN it works like it should when acciessing the page.
So it's not that ActiveX is not allowed.
It is something with the download or the information bar.
What registry settings should I look for?
I have another PC to compare with.
