I try to use trend micro to scan for the virus but my internet explorer dont seem to work well with trend micro, so i wasnt able to scan my com. How can i get around the with my internet explorer on trend micro website?

Try another site for online scan (one of them should work depending upon the
virus), get an anti virus program and keep it up to date, I've included a link
to one of the free ones.

Symantec
http://security.norton.com/sscv6/default.asp?langid=ie&venid=sym
Panda ActiveScan;

McAfee FreeScan:

Kaspersky Labs On-line Virus Checker:

BitDefender Online Scan:

Downloadable McAfee AVERT Stinger:
Stinger: http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/
stand-alone utility used to detect and remove specific viruses. It is not a
substitute for full anti-virus protection, but rather a tool to assist
administrators and users when dealing with an infected system. Stinger utilizes
next generation scan engine technology, including process scanning, digitally
signed DAT files, and scan performance optimizations.

If you know the name of the trojan then you can manually remove it.

You might want to try (free for 30 days) Trojan Remover. at -
http://www.simplysup.com/tremover/ Some Trojans wont allow themselves to be
removed easily. This programme enables this and gets rid of them pronto.
I'm considering buying it as a secodary tool to my McAfee etc.

First step is NOT to use anti-spyware apps to remove virueses or
trojans.

Apparently you don't have a current version antivirus (not earlier than
2005) installed and/or you have let your subscription lapse. Start by
scanning with either Sysclean or David Lipman's Multi-AV. Follow the
preliminary instructions at the first link below:

http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware
http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#TrendMicros_Sysclean
http://www.ik-cs.com/multi-av.htm - how to use Dave Lipman's Multi-AV
http://www.ik-cs.com/programs/virtools/Multi_AV.exe - Multi-AV download

After you've done the initial scanning with one of those tools, get and
install a full-featured av, update its definitions, and do a thorough
scan in Safe Mode.

After that, continue scanning for non-viral malware per the instructions
at the Removing_Malware link above.

After you get your computer cleaned up, see how to practice Safe Hex:

Infected Anyway?
