Infected Registry Locations

After a full scan, the report showed that 2 Registry
locations were infected. How can I fix this? I don't
know if this would have anything to do with the
infections but, I recently removed a virus that entered
through AIM. Maybe something got left behind? Thanks
for any help on this.

Was this a manual, or a scheduled automatic scan? If you initiated the scan
yourself, there should be a dialog with choices about what to do with
threats found. Some installs seem to be flawed in a way which eliminates
this screen. I'd advise Start, control panel, add or remove programs,
Microsoft Antispyware, change, update as a possible fix in this case.

If it was a scheduled scan, the default action might be either quarantine,
or ignore. If the entries are in quarantine, you can either ignore them, or
go to tools, spyware scan, manage spyware quarantine and dispose of them.

If the action was ignore, you'd need to re-scan manually, and choose a
disposition of remove to get rid of them.
