Inexplicable permissions issues in Outlook 2003 - can't copy theitems

I'm using Outlook 2003 SP2 in cached exchange mode. I frequently can't
save messages to folders, whether by dragging and dropping or ctrl-
shift-v.

The error is:

Can't copy the items. You don't have permission to create an entry in
this folder. Right-click the folder, and then click Properties to
check your permissions for the folder. See the folder owner or your
administrator to change your permissions.

I am the folder owner, however, and I have full permissions in the
folder properties. It is not a shared folder or a sharepoint folder --
just a regular folder. Sometimes restarting Outlook or rebooting fixes
it.

Any ideas how to troubleshoot? It doesn't seem like permissions is
really the issue.

Hello, Did you resolve your error issue? I am receiving the same error in
Outlook and can't modify or change in Calendar, email or tasks and quite
frustrating. I've reinstalled MS 2003, ran a "detect & repair" and no
change. Your assistance would be helpful if you've resolved the issue.
Thank you.

No luck. I believe it was related to a plugin, but I never got any
advice on how to troubleshoot or fix the problem.

I think I resolved the issue - it's working and praying it is resolved! Go to
http://www.howto-outlook.com/downloads and download, and go to Microsoft
Downloads, and click on and download: "Microsoft Outlook pst-file back-up
Add-in".

Good luck! Let me know if this works for you!
