My Mother in Law uses a website to play BINGO and with her old computer
running XP she needed to increase the Windows Temp internet file size to
10325 from 1024 to keep the system from freezing.
With the new computer and Vista operatin system we are haveing the freezing
problem, and cannot increase the size of the temp files past 1024.
I understand Microsoft feels ths is sufficient, but it isn't working.
IS THERE A WAY TO DO THIS
My saniety and marrage may depend on it.
Thanks

Why don't you give the web site address so others can check out this absurd
phenomenon.

Um .. does the freezing happen every session .. or only after a series of
sessions? If the later you might have IE7 clear temp files on close.

Start IE7 > Tools button > Internet Options > Advanced tab > scroll way down
and check the "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed"
checkbox > click OK

And if your mother-in-law gives you any more grief, tell her you want to
play pin the tail on the donkey .. at the top of the stairs.

Yours is a better answer .. what kind of Bingo website wants to put 10GB on
the harddrive!? Is the game just a cover for more evil purposes?

Saucy

That's why I want the web address. (-:
