Increase in viruses caught

I use NAV, Zone Alarm and also Spywareblaster and Ad-aware. All of a
sudden NAV is catching new viruses like this new Netsky every time I check
my email. Normally it takes a while after a new virus comes out before and
if I ever see them. I also have had a big increase in spam. The only
thing that I have done lately is had a Port Scan done. Any ideas why this
increase or is it normal. Thanks in advance.

If you get it over and over again I suspect that one of your friends has
Netsky on his computer and did not notice yet.

I got it only once, touch wood.

I received 12 "Netsky" on the 20th and 4 on the 21st. Thanks for the reply.
