In Word 2000, I need to add items in a drop down list that
are greater than 50 characters. Can this be done? If so,
how?

Actually I'm creating a form and need to include a drop
down list that contains about 15 items and each item is
greater than 50 characters long. When I add the items to
the list, they are truncated. Thanks....

Hi Marku,

Sorry, my bad... read your post too fast and confused characters for
entries...

Yes, the limit is 50.
You can use the same principle as the one I suggested in my previous post to
work around that limit though.

Good luck!

Hi,

I have to do the same thing! I'm creating a dropdown box with lengthy choices and the drop down box won't accept the whole sentence. Can you step me through how to get rid of the character length limit? I'm useless with computers! Thanks!!
