Incorrect processor speed in windows xp

hi, i have an E4600 2.40GHz processor which i overclocked to 2.66GHz

windows is reporting it as 3.20GHz, which also tells other applications its
running as that

now cpu-z, speedfan, coretemp and other programs shows the actual 2.66GHz
speed

what can i do to windows?

thanks

You could ignore what Windows says and rely on the other programs to report
the actual clock speed.
