I have just installed a AMD ATHLON XP2000+ 1.67Ghz CPU. The PC boots up fine but displays that the CPU is 1.25 Ghz, in the system proprties window it also displays 1.25 Ghz. When I check the Bios the CPU speed is shown as 2000Mhz. Do I have a problem , which CPU speed is correct.

If just the BIOS is incorrect, flash the latest BIOS version for the board
you should clear the CMOS first.
