inconsistent blackened scenes

Hi. I am trying to make a simple slideshow from pictures with Moviemaker. I
bought the Sonic/Roxio software to get it to DVD. Last time I used this I
had some problems but muddled through. This time when I save the project to
my hard drive, it saves to Windows Media Player. I am now checking this to
play before trnasferring to DVD. It inconsistently stops playing the
pictures towards the end but continues with the music. It's a black screen.
Show is only 13 minutes in all. I have saved it in both formats of Highest
Quality NTSC and also the AV-DVi NTSC. Doesn't seem to make a difference.
Can anybody please help?
One time I tried it and it ran all the way through but were a few glitches
(hesitations at certain transistions) that I didn't like so I went and
changed just those couple of transitions, now the whole thing won't run
through. HELP

You may have some incompatibility issues

And BTW...PhotoStory 3 would be a better
app for creating projects with still pictures.
