Incomplete Browse List?

I continue to have a problem with not all servers or
workstations appearing in the browse list. They may
appear for a while and then be gone again. Where is this
info pulled from?
 
Global Catalog Server has nothing to do with browse lists. Are those
workstations located on separate network segments ? Are you using WINS
server ?

Yes to both of your questions, we are using WINS. And yes
we do have a number of different subnets scattered across
our WAN. Thank you for your help.
 
Check, that your computers/servers are registering properly with WINS server
on all segments. If you have multiple wins servers see if replication is
working properly.
