Incoming photos not opening automatically

I just upgraded from Outlook Express to Outlook 2003. In O.E. incoming photos
would automatically open in the lower window. In Outlook 2003 the images only
appear as icons, and I have to view them in a separate viewer. Is there a
setting for automatic opening of these files in the right side (content)
window of Outlook 2003? Thankful for suggestions.

There is no such setting. Outlook always shows attachments ans attachments.
