incoming connections

Hi,

I am using a windows 2000 client pc at one site bit want
to be able to dial into our windows 20000 server at our
main HQ.
I have done the following on the Windows 2000 server at HQ:

Mycomputer > controlPanel > Network & DialUp Connections >
Make New connection > Accept Incoming Connections.

I then select the modem on the server and create a user
name and password for the user who will be dialing into
the server.

Is this all i need to do for the user to dial into the
main HQ windows 2000 server?

Cheers for all who reply, much appreciated.

Hi,

What you have done will work ok, but it would be better to open up the
Routing and Remote Access (RRAS) MMC on the server and enable RRAS.

Thanks,
