Including Hyperlinks in Document Exported from Excel to PDF

Nicky

I have about 150 charts in an excel workbook that are updated weekly an
exported to a PDF document. I want to include a master index at th
front, and sub-section title page indexes throughout the document, wit
hyperlinks to the named charts and sub-section title pages. However,
find that chart sheets can't be hyperlinked, and if I locate the chart
as objects in worksheets then create hyperlinks to those sheets, th
hyperlinks do not carry over into the PDF. I have tried using both PD
writer and PDF distiller, and am using Adobe Acrobat 4.05.

Is there a way of either ensuring that the hyperlinks are exported fro
the excel file, or automating the process of linking the index to th
charts in Acrobat so I don’t have to do it one-by-one by hand

I recommend using some automation/macro software. You can record a
sequence of steps and then play them back, with variations if you like.

Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for the suggestion - I can't work out your e-mail address. Could
you contact me via the e-mail address in my member registration?

Unfortunately I am not reading your post on Excelforum.com, I am reading
it via the gateway to Usenet, so I cannot see your member registration
cand cannot determine your email address.

Let me give you another hint for deciphering my email address.

1. How is "@" usually pronounced, in an email address?
2. Spell it out as if it were an English word.
3. Remove that English word from my email address.
4. Also remove the extra invalid from my email address.

But I want to encourage you to try to solve the problem in public, so
that other people can benefit from seeing your problem solved.

Thanks Jonathan
I can't see your address in this forum.
However, following your suggestion I downloaded some automation
software. Haven't tried it yet, but I hope it will do the trick.
Thanks
Nicky
