include text field problem

dear techincal person,
first thank you for giving me from your value time.
my problem is in file location where i am want to insert (includetext) field
to have the bookmark value from another document put although i wrote the
file path correctely the following error appear:
Error! Not a valid filename.

i change the file location for several location and the same error appear,
my file
name (test.doc) my bookmark name is (t)


here what i wort

{ INCLUDETEXT "E:\\asma\\derector.JCGM\\Desktop\tmp\\test.doc" t }

or

{ INCLUDETEXT "C:\\test.doc" t }

i am using office 2003 and windows xp

Your first example is invalid:
{ INCLUDETEXT "E:\\asma\\derector.JCGM\\Desktop\tmp\\test.doc" t }
it should read
{ INCLUDETEXT "E:\\asma\\derector.JCGM\\Desktop\\tmp\\test.doc" t }
You could try entering it as follows:

{ INCLUDETEXT "E:/asma/derector.JCGM/Desktop/tmp/test.doc" t }
which should work equally well

I see nothing wrong with the second example..
{ INCLUDETEXT "C:\\test.doc" t }
again that could be written as
{ INCLUDETEXT "C:/test.doc" t }

I take it you are sure that the file test.doc is actually copied into the
two folders and that the E: drive is not a CD drive (or other removable
media).

If you double click the filename in Windows Explorer do you get the same
error message? If so - see How to re-register Word when problems crop up
opening files

unfortunately the same error message appear although i am sue of the file
name and location and it is open in windows exploror!

If you have inserted the field correctly as suggested and updated it (F9)
then I see no reason why it shouldn't work.
