InCD Error

Whenever i turn the PC on over the last few days i get the following box up:
InCD Error
Cannot connect to file system
InCD service not running

The box just appeared yesterday!

Is this something to do with Nero?
My DVD-RW has stopped working could that be an issue?
Have not added or deleted anything in the last week.


O/S is Windows XP Home/AMD CPU 3800/1GB RAM

Yep, that's part of Nero. Is it patched to the latest version?

I've had a google and it looks like the solution seems to be a complete uninstall, use of the "clean tool", then re-install - bit of a pain, but worth a shot.

edit: What version of Nero are you running, InCD seems to come with old versions which you might not actually need with XP?

Hi Ian, I'm running Nero 6.
But as the DVD-RW is bust i'm not really using it.

Might as well uninstall it, and use something like this (http://cdburnerxp.se/) when you need it again
