Inbox will not delete messages.

This Sunday, my inbox stopped allowing me to delete
messages. I get a "errors have been found, use inbox
repair tool" message when attempting to deleat messages.
PIII, 1GB RAM, Outlook 2000 SP-3 (part of Office
Premium), Win XP PRO SP-1, All updates, etc.
I have used the inbox repair tool on the .pst file, have
tried repair & detect on outlook program.
Any suggestions?

How many items are in your deleted items folder? How big is the *.PST file?
The reason that I ask is that you might have hit a item count limit for a
folder or the *.pst file is at capacity.

Capacity limits...
2GB max file size
16,000 items per folder
16,000 folders per folder

Enabling large table support (right click on personal folders and select
properties | advanced and check the appropriate box)
2GB max file size
65,000 items per folder
65,000 folders per folder
