inbox: slow to change views

when in the inbox and switching between meesages it takes
about 5-7 seconds in the preview pane to show. I've
downloaded the latest updates and have changed the views
and it is still slow.

Any ideas?

If its Outlook 2002+:

Try turning off the "Instant Messaging"

Open the TOOLS menu
Select OPTIONS...
Select the OTHER tab

Turn off the check mark next to "Enable Instant Messaging
on Microsoft Outlook"
