inbox repair tool for Outlook 2007

I have an error message on Outlook 2007 telling me to use the inbox repair
tool. It happens when I try to delete a message from my inbox. Also, Outlook
keeps downloading new emails, and telling me they are in my inbox, but I
cannot see them. I have run the scan.pst, only to have it tell me it was not
successful and that no files have been changed when it gets to task 8 of 8. I
was reading the posts saying that the 2007 scan.pst was faulty. If this is
the case, and I can't get it to work, what are my options? Do I have to
reinstall Outlook? Will I lose all of my current email? Is there a way to
make the scan.pst work? Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Your option is to restore from backup. There is no Inbox Repair Tool that
works yet for Outlook 2007.

I did a system restore. It didn't work though because it kept all of my
current emails.

Who said anything about a system restore? I told you to restore your Outlook
data file from the one you made before you installed beta software. No one
would install beta software without backing up their data first. The
warnings are everywhere.

Well I guess I was one of the foolish ones who didn't backup. Silly me for
not backing up everything. Not that I had anything to back up as it was a new
computer. Either way, all I want to do is to get Outlook working again. I
don't care if I lose all of my current emails. I tried uninstalling it and
reinstalling it, but it did not work. Maybe I am not smart enough to be
running Beta software according to you.

Well if all you need to do is get Outlook working again, just create a new
profile.
