Software to repair corrupt pst file?

Has anyone had success with any of the programs that claim to repair a
corrupted pst file? I downloaded and used "Quick Recovery for MS Outlook"
from Unistal. It seems to find the data but the Unistal program crashes
before it can save it. Any suggestions? I have tried the following with no
success: scan.pst, inbox repair tool, check disk, defrag, and maybe others.

It gets to the 7th of 8 process: "Checking folders and items" and then I get
the message: "An error has occured which caused the scan to be stopped. No
changes have been made to the scanned file."
