Does anybody know a. Why my outlook folders are automatically re-directing to
my homepage? and b. How on earth I can re-set my inbox to view files in the
inbox folders instead of my homepage.

I don't recall changing any value recently and I have tried setting the
homepage linked to the favourites folders.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Regards,

Doug.

folder home page setting changed? right click on the inbox and choose
properties - is the home page option checked?

Diane - thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately the home page option is not
checked and there's no homepage defined.

The problem doesn't just occur on the inbox folder, it's on all outlook
folders including the calendar.

I've tried running various adware and spyware programs and I'm busy removing
anything that's detected, I've also tried restoring to previous restore
points and downloading MS Outlook updates etc. but still no joy.

Have you got any other thoughts? In the meantime, should I backup m .pst
file or do youthink that might be infected/affected as well?

Many thanks,

Doug.

Diane,

I have recently visited a web page and downloaded a screen saver which seems
to have downloaded adverts that conflicted with Outlook. Don't know why I
hadn't thought about it earlier.

Just in case anybody else has problems, the website was
www.scenicreflections.com

I went to the system32 folder, found the files and deleted them - Outlook
now appears to be working ok.

Regards,

Doug.
