Hello,

I just set up Windows mail with my college email account. All of the
folders are here besides my inbox and whenever I send an email it doesn't
show up in Windows mail. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal? Can
anyways tell me how to fix this issue?

Thanks so much!

Your sent emails don't appear in your Inbox? I don't understand,
normally one worries about *incoming* emails not appearing!
A copy of every sent email should be in the Sent Items folder.

No, no...there are no emails in my Inbox at all. It's just blank. All of
my other folders are full of messages/emails.

So are all those emails in the other folders recently arrived
ones or old ones? What happens when you send a new email to
yourself; does it arrive?

Is this an IMAP account rather than a POP3 account?

What happens when you try to receive, any error message?

It is an IMAP account. The emails in the other folders are old and if I
send an email to myself it shows a copy in my sent items folder but nothing
in the inbox. I have to get on the website for my email address to access
my inbox.

Responders like myself are hampered when assisting college
students because the college often does not publish their
email setup instructions on a public web page.
I assume there is no error message when you try to receive,
and without that error message it is difficult to figure out
what is wrong. Your best bet at this point is to contact the
WSU department responsible for assisting students with
email difficulties.
