Cant see mail sent to subaccounts

I have email subaccount that I have set up with my ISP. I have set them up
as accounts in Windows Mail. I am able to send from the sub accounts and see
those items in my sent items folder, but I can not see items in my inbox
except on the Master Account.

I thought everything went to the same inbox? is there something I am missing
here - besides my email?

Of these are aliases for the same mailbox on the server, the first account
to access the mailbox will download the mail for all 'sub-accounts'.

What happens when you send an email to yourself, from a
sub-account to the same sub-account?

I see it in the Sent Items - but not the Inbox.

Thank you for your help.

It sounds like the sub-accounts you set up in Windows Mail
are either not checking for mail, or else they are checking the
wrong mailbox on the server.

First of all, when you go to the server via the webmail portal
(using your browser), can you access those sub-accounts, and
do they have emails in them waiting to be downloaded?

Next, go to Tools, Accounts, select a sub-account, Properties.
Make sure that on the General tab the option "Include this account..."
is checked. Then go to the Servers tab and make sure that the
"E-mail username" is the correct one for the sub-account, not the
one for the main account.
