Hi, today i opened outlook express 6 (i have windows xp)
and it said i had two new messages. when i clicked to
open my inbox it was empty, i had previously had atleast
100 fairly important emails saved in it.when i went back
to the start page for outlook it said i had no new
messages. I searched my c drive for inbox.dbx but it was
completely gone off of my computer as well as every other
outlook folder except for the adress book. I sent my self
an email from an internet based account and when i opened
up outlook it said i had a new message and if i opened it
up from the icon on the taskbar (by the clock) icould
read it but then when i opened my inbox in outlook it was
empty. After clicking around abit in outlook to try and
figure it out an error report message popped up and made
me close it. This kept on happening evertime i tried to
do something. Lately I've noticed that I've been getting
alot of these messages in all programs. I ran Mcafee
virus scan and it says my computer is free of viruses. If
anyone could give me any advice on how to get back my old
messages, or atleas get outlook running again i would
really appreciate it. thanks.
