I saved my Inbox to disk and am transferring them to a new computer. When I
try to File/Import it won't let me. Can I just drag and drop on top of
existing Inbox.dbx - what happens to the msg's already there?

If you drag and drop over the existing Inbox, I believe it will just delete
the messages that are there. I couldn't find a good way to get this
working, so what I did was rename inbox.dbx to something like drafts.dbx and
replace the drafts folder, then open up Outlook and copy all the messages
from the "drafts" folder into your inbox.

Hope that helps.

You can't import because OE doesn't recognise the folder your inbox.dbx is
in as a message store. You also need to copy the file folders.dbx for this
to work.

Have a look at this:
