Inbox completely empty

I use Outlook 2007 and some days ago, I realised my Inbox was displaying no
new messages. There is a 'Filter applied' note, next to the search Inbox.
Anytime I try to shut down and restart Outlook, or move other messages from
other folders to the inbox, I cannot view them.
I tried switching views, but none would work.
There are no rules also.
Any ideas?
