Okay, I have tried everything else. We are using Exhange
5.5 and Outlook 97 (I know..I know). Anyway, I am part of
our Information systems group and I receive everything
from that group except our firewall server alarms. I used
to receive them, but now I don't. The only thing that has
changed is that I used to have a rule in the Inbox
assistant and I deleted it. Could this have something to
do with me not receiving those emails anymore. I even
tried making them come directly to me in the firewall.

I deleted another test rule that I had for something else,
and now I don't receive those emails either. Anybody know
anything about this?

Have you checked your firewall help files? The alerts would have to be
generated from the firewall, which suggests that your firewall needs to be
checked for email options.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Monique asked:

Yes, I worked on the firewall first. Everything is as it
should be. It is weird that it has happened twice. I
delete the rule in outlook and stop receiving those emails
all together.
