Emails Disappear while receiving; never make it into inbox, no rul

Help me please. I will receiving 5 messages and only 4 show up in my inbox.
Where is the other one? Also I don't receive replies from some contacts. I
see them being received but they don't make it into my inbox. Where are these
emails going? I have no rules/exceptions. I have checked Mcafee Spam and
nothing. Need this fixed - I am losing lots of emails all the time. I have
Outlook 2000-SR1.

If you run advanced find on your entire mailbox, can you find them? Do you
have any views set to filter messages meeting those conditions?
