Inbound connections to XP home

What exactly counts as an inbound connection to an XP
machine? We have 14 computers on our workgroup. There is
one folder which needs to be accessed by nearly all
machines(but at different times) located on an XP home
machine. We are getting the message: "No more
connections can be made to this remote machine because
there already too many computers connected." I read where
you are only allowed 5 concurrent inbound connections to
a home machine, but I can't figure out what counts. I
also read in the knowledge base about the command prompt
line:
net config
server /autodisconnect:time_before_autodisconnect

tried this but it is not disconnecting machines???

Sorry for the rambling. Anyway please help if you can.
I am on MSN messenger as: (e-mail address removed) or can be
reached at that email address. Thanks
