The "search" command in my Windows XP start page does not
respond. And whenever I boot up my PC, a notepad window
appears on the desktop with "station.sbrt" in the title
line and stays unit I close it.

Hello,

Check to make sure that you do not have anything in
your Startup folder (Start>All Programs>Startup). If you
do, one of them should be the NotePad file. Please
delete this from the Startup folder and this should
correct your issue.
