Inaccurate Tooltips

Hello,

I don't know if anyone has posted this already but the
search revealed nothing but 952 pages dealing with XP. I
don't have the time or the energy to read through all of
them lol. Anyway I notice that any program I use that has
the tooltips active shows inaccurate information when
switching between elements displayed. For instance if I
hover the mouse cursor over a menu item button Link and
then move it to another menu item right next to it the
display information for the previous is displayed and NOT
the one for the new element. I have to move the mouse
away, clearing the tooltip, and then move it back onto
element. Any help for this? Thanks.

I assume you have the "open when I hover the cursor" feature enabled and if so then you can do some research into registry changes that can be made to improve the reaction times of the feature. {:~)

Hi,

Common within XP, sad to say. A reboot often resolves the issue. However,
as of late this has been determined to only happen with those using Show
Desktop. Any extra information you can share would help as I have been
spending time researching this.
