Inaccessible files in a shared folder

In a WiFi network, I moved files from one computer to a shared folder on
another one. As soon as the transfer finished, I got a message that the files
are unaccessible.

In a different case, I moved files from the 2nd computer to the shared
folder and tried to copy it from a 3rd computer. I got a message that the
file was unreadable. My solution was to copy the file using cp (in bash) on
the 2nd computer - the copy was accessible.

What could be wrong with that shared folder?

Probably permissions. Take ownership.
