Manuscript editing. I need a way to track comments in a seperate document. Is
there a way to just print the text I highlight along with the comments? Or
better yet, can I export the highlighted text and comments into an Excel
workbook and use a different sheet per chapter?

Hi LadyRev

You don't mention what version of Word you have. To print a list of your
comments, if you have Word 2003, then do File > Print. In the "Print what"
box, choose "List of markup". "Markup" = comments + tracked changes. If you
have tracked changes in your document, and you just want to print the
comments, then hide the tracked changes before printing.

To save that information to a document, choose the "Generic / Text Only"
printer and choose to print to file. If that printer is not installed, then
install it first.

Hope this helps.
