In Vista 64-bits: 32-bit apps crash when attempting to access Inte

In Vista Ultimate 64-bits any 32-bit application that tries to access the
Internet terminates unexpectedly, for example Microsoft Outlook, Thunderbird
or Internet Explorer 32 bits (message: APPCRASCH... module
StackHash_8d13...). Internet 64-bit applications work fine, for example
Internet Explorer 64-bit version or Windows Update... So, I cannot receive or
send e-mails.

Maybe the problem began when after updating Windows. I solved the first time
this problem restoring my system to a previous configuration, but it has
happened now again. Now restoring the system to a previous configuration does
not solve the problem. I have also reinstalled Windows without success. I
have seen that one user solved this problem disabling one option in NOD32
antivirus (which I also have); but it did not solve the problem in my case
(search with Google "32bit apps crash when attempting to get online" and look
at the forums <http://forums.techarena.in> or <www.vista64.com>, message by
Andrew Skow, with a lot of technical data; answer by Dejan Schild).

Thank you in advance for any help.

Test this, it worked for me

Got this from another thread; (e-mail address removed) tell that you should
reset the winsocket

""Try to reset the Winsock file:

1. Click Start , type cmd in the Start Search text box, and then
press ENTER.
2. Type the following command, and then press ENTER:
netsh winsock reset
3. Restart the computer.""
