In spanish how do you type the inverted question mark ?

If your language is set to Spanish and you type ?how? it should be
autoformatted to ¿how?

This is switched on and off by the "Replace straight quotes with smart
quotes" setting.
 
Type ALT+168 (ASCCI code for ¿)
