I am printing a presentation from another person and the thin line is showing
in some slides and not others- why is this happening? How can I tell if a
slide will have a border before it prints - I want to do this in some slides-
but can't tell why some have it and some don't. I am printing in color-
thanks for your help.

See if Print Preview reveals anything.

Also check the background (either on the slide itself or on the slide master).
Sometimes bitmap images will have a border of pixels that are just slightly
different from the rest of the image; the difference might be emphasized in
printing.
