in outlook, how do i change the default size of a new message wind

in outlook, how do i change the default size of a new message window?
currently, it is maximized. also, is there a way to set it's position on the
screen?

any help is appreciated.

Unmaximize it, then drag its borders to the size you want. Close it by
holding Ctrl* and double-clicking the icon at the top LEFT of the title bar.
Windows should remember its size.

(* Perhaps it's really Shift you should hold when double-clicking the icon.
I don't remember. You might also want to use File>Close or File>Exit and
Windows should remember the size.)
