In Excel, my spreadsheet keeps on scrolling down a row or two on its own.
Or, for instance, when I click on "Tools" and the menu drops, the menu
disapears on its own. Why is it so sensitive and how can I get rid of it?

Just a guess but it could relate to your mouse driver. Does it do this
when you move the mouse? What happens if you leave the mouse/keyboard
alone?

Suggest you try uninstalling/reinstalling the mouse driver through
control panel.
