in Excel, after cell copy takes few seconds to appear the cursor

In Excel, when I select a cell copy it takes few seconds to appear the
cursor back. I am using Office 2003. Laptop, 1.73ghz,Ram 256mb.

what is the reason for this? any solution?

Look at the newsgroups under microsoft.public.excel
