In a form, can a Label be set up to blink or flash?

I am attempting to create a form and need a Label to flash or blink
continuously so the operator will remember to enter information into the
field. I would also like to use this in other forms when needed. There are
several special effects available for a label but flashing or blinking is not
one I've found.

Tikes - sounds pretty anoying. You can simply set it to requireed and the
user will not be able to get out without updating it.

If you insist on making it flash, do a search (probably in the formscoding
newsgroup). It seems like a similar question was asked in the last few
days.

If you can't find it there, go to google groups and enter...

microsoft.public.access control flash

and see if you can find it there.

Using that search string gave too many results due to "flash" in people's
emails.

Try this instead...

microsoft.public.access.formscoding control flashing

Lots of good examples.

Use the forms Timer event with code like this:

Me.lblBlink.Visible = Not Me.lblBlink.Visible

Set the Timer Interval to the appropriate number depending on how fast you
want the label to blink. 1000 = 1 second
