Ok now I'm preparing to undertake a big fun project. I want to outfit a car
with a computer.
Ok too many episodes of Knight Rider.
I want the feel though of the show.
I figure putting in a basic box and fitting it in shack absorbent outer
shell with good ventilation.
Any help?

This is an ACCESS newsgroup. We help build databases in MS Access, not
install hardware.

Just curious though. Do you really want to write a letter in Word while you
drive? Seems like a bad idea to me.

Sorry didn't that through.
Public.Access .....duh!
thanks for not damning me forever.

Well, not on a technical support newsgroup for the database software
Microsoft Access.

Please repost your question in a suitable hardware newsgroup.

Note that having the computer screen visible to the driver would
probably be strictly illegal in most jurisdictions. There's a road and
other traffic out there which should have your full attention!

A guy in another NG did this with his pickup truck.

Sounded like he *really* knew what he was doing.

Might have misc.rural.

Some web page and NG Googling would probably have a beeeg payoff.
