Improved WU speed w/ SP3 RC2?

Ok so I just checked for updates for the first time on WU after installing
RC2 yesterday and the detection was super quick! Has anyone else
experienced this? Could it be that the check is less comprehensive after
RC2?

No, it is just faster. Some of the networking changes may be responsible.

I have noticed that Remote Desktop is INSTANTANEOUS now (hello RDP
6.1!!). Didn't try WU yet. Thanks for letting us know though.
