Improve clarity of Excel objects linked in PowerPoint Presentation

is there a way to improve the quality of an excel graph and text that I have
linked from excel into a powerpoint presentation? I have a number of
PowerPoint slides that have active graphs and text from Excel. I would like
to keep them in Excel so that they updates are easier. But it is burry and
lacks crisp clarity when it is projected. I want to keep it as an active
link to excel but the quality of the image in PowerPoint is not as good. Any
help is appreciated.

Which version on PowerPoint (and Excel) are you using (2003 & 2007 work very
differently in this regard) and exactly how did you create the link?

I am using 2007 for Excel and PPT. I copy the object in Excel, then go to
PowerPoint Paste Special, then select paste as a linked object from excel.

When you link, PowerPoint links the data, but pastes in a picture of the
content. I haven't had any trouble with this, but don't have a projector to
see it very large. I'm just throwing out ideas here, but try making the text
bigger in Excel and being sure not to enlarge the object in PowerPoint. In
the same way, enlarge a chart in Excel, and then copy and Paste Special with
the link. Does that help?
