I'm buying a list that I need to import to my Microsoft Works 4.5
database.

What is a compatible suffix that my version of Works will import...I
tried to look it up under "help" but it doesn't say.

Is it "*.dbf" for example?

If you open the program and create a new database and
save it it should have a list of all the formats you can
save as these will be compatible or File>open should have
a list too.
this might not answer your question but its a start.

DBASE
comma delimited text file (.TXT)
tab Delimited text file (.CSV)

That is backwards. Just had to do it today.
..csv is comma saved
..txt is with tabs
