I did a movie with scanned photos and videos downloaded from my camera. The
videos are fine but a lot of the photos have mysterious black dots, that
look like there is mold in the picture. It appears in a lot of photos,
mostly on white background, wall,windows,curtains, etc. Sometimes they
outline a person's face or clothes. How can I remedy this problem?

Maybe this occurred when you scanned the photos.
Dust on the photos before scanning? Dust on the
scanning bed?

I always wipe the photo and the scanning bed with
a clean cloth before scanning and still have to touch
up a few spots before using in a project.

If you think the spots are something other than dust...
maybe you could upload an example to the following
site and post the download link in this thread.
